As we bid goodbye to 2013, and get ready to ring in the New Year, I wish to personally thank you for all your support and for the trust you have reposed in us at Global Executive Talent. 2013 has been an excellent year for us, and it was your encouragement and support that made it possible. Thank you, once again.

Our basic belief that organizational change is an imperative for staying relevant today, more than at any other time, has been validated resoundingly in 2013. The adoption of new technologies like Cloud, Mobile, Social, Internet of Things, 3D Printing etc., has fundamentally changed how customers behave in the enterprise and consumer worlds. And nimble enterprises are redefining themselves very quickly to adapt to this new reality. Take Nike, for instance. Nike has cemented its transformation, from an Apparel company to a Digital company, with the phenomenal success of its Nike+Digital platform. With its fuel band’s promise, it should not surprise us if Nike invades the medical space too! Today, Nike has 44 job openings for Digital workers..and only 5 openings for designers! Rethinking jobs and functions can only happen with the right leadership at the top. These are very interesting times, which need interesting people who can see the future to refashion products, markets, engineering and everything in the middle. As we step into 2014, we are thankful that “Innovation” is no longer a buzzword, but a key ingredient for success in this hyper-changing environment. Finding Innovators who can lead from the top, is what excites us at Global Executive Talent, and it’s what keeps us on our toes. We are confident that our model of hiring Transformational leadership talent, wherever they are, will become more mainstream in the coming years. Balaji Srinivasan, the new whiz-kid venture capitalist at Andreessen Horowitz, predicts that "The future of technology is not really in ‘location-based apps’, but in making location completely unimportant". We are happy to play our part in making this a reality in our world of Leadership Hiring.
