An excellent perspective on what the sharing economy means to employees/contractors. We have built a society with laws meant for the post industrial-revolution economy. Now we will need to rethink the entire framework. The insurance industry has an interesting opportunity to create new products. The "employee" too needs to figure out how he could leverage the new flexibility and freedom to really equip himself with skills that are not uni-dimensional.
